The raised-and-fielded panel is the most traditional face in the range: an ovolo-moulded margin runs around the opening and a bevelled centre field sits flush with the frame — the classic choice for in-frame and period kitchens.
Ours is machined from a single sheet rather than framed from five pieces, so there are no mitre joints at the corners to open or shadow through your paint. Set the rail and stile widths to suit the job; the moulding and field are profiled to your exact size.

Frequently asked questions
What does “raised and fielded” mean?
The centre panel isn't recessed below the frame — it's bevelled up so the flat centre field sits close to flush with the surrounding frame, with an ovolo-moulded margin running around it. It's the most traditional face in the range and the usual choice for in-frame and period kitchens.
Is the moulding a separate piece stuck on?
No. The whole profile — moulding and bevelled field — is swept out of the same sheet of MR MDF. On a conventional door the moulding is applied or scribed and those joints are the first thing to open at the corners; there's nothing here to come away.
Does the raised field work on a door with a shaped head?
Yes — the moulding follows a raked or splayed head round, so the profile stays continuous rather than dying into the slope. Shaped heads carry a flat addition on top of the door price, whatever the style, and the configurator shows it as you set the legs.
Are these made to measure?
Yes. Every door is CNC-machined one-piece from moisture-resistant MDF to your exact width and height — enter the size in the configurator and the price updates as you type.
