Do I need an account?
No. The designer and every download are free with no signup, email or payment.
What file format do I get?
A binary glTF (.glb) — use File → Import in SketchUp 2024 or newer, which is when glTF import was added. We moved to it from STL because STL carries no surface information, so a coved or reeded door arrived with every flute ruled by lines. A GLB comes in smooth, with the real edges still crisp, and needs no import options set.
What units is the model in?
Millimetres, at the exact dimensions you set in the designer.
What’s included in the model?
The full door body with its real construction detail — pockets, mouldings, grooves and shaped heads. Hinge bores are deliberately excluded to keep the geometry clean for modelling.
Can you actually make the door?
