CNC operator

Run our Biesse, the industrial CNC at the heart of the workshop — loading boards, running the day's nested sheets, looking after the tooling and checking every part that comes off the bed.
What you'll do
- Run the day's nested sheets on our Biesse CNC, loading and unloading full 8×4 and 10×4 boards of HDF and MDF.
- Set up and change our diamond tooling, and keep the tool carousel ready for every door style we sell.
- Check parts as they come off the bed against their drawings — sizes, pockets, profiles and hinge boring.
- Label and stack finished parts for the sanding bench, and flag anything damaged so it goes back in the queue to be remade.
- Keep the machine and its bed clean and well maintained.
What we're looking for
- Experience running a CNC router, ideally nesting sheet material in a joinery or panel shop.
- Confident reading drawings and measuring accurately — our doors are square to ±0.2mm.
- Careful and methodical: you'd rather stop the machine than cut a sheet you're unsure of.
- Biesse experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
