Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms apply to all orders placed with JoinerySupply Ltd. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.
Last updated: 18 June 2026
1. Who we are
“We”, “us” and “our” mean JoinerySupply Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Unit 6, Norton's Industrial Estate, Collier St, Tonbridge, TN12 9RR. You can contact us at office@joinerysupply.co.uk
“You” and “Customer” mean the business buying from us. “Goods” and “Doors” mean the made-to-order doors and any related items you order.
2. Business customers only
We sell only to businesses (the trade). By ordering, you confirm that you are buying in the course of a business and not as a consumer. These terms are written on that basis.
Consumer protection rules — including the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the consumer remedies in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — do not apply to your order. If you are buying as a consumer, please do not order through this site.
3. Your order and our contract
- The configurator and any prices shown are an invitation to order, not an offer we are bound by.
- When you place an order, you are offering to buy on these terms.
- A contract is formed only when we confirm your order and your payment has cleared. At that point your specification is locked and we begin preparing your Doors for manufacture.
- We may decline any order — for example, if we cannot meet the specification, if a price was clearly wrong, or if payment fails.
4. Made to order — your specification
- Every Door is bespoke: it is machined to the exact dimensions, materials, style and options you enter in the configurator. We do not hold stock and we cannot resell a Door made to your specification.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter — all measurements, quantities, styles, finishes and other options.
- The sizes you enter are the finished manufactured sizes of the Door. You are responsible for allowing for your own fitting gaps, clearances, hinges, handing and site conditions. We make the Door to the size you give us; we do not adjust it.
- We do not provide a measuring or site-survey service. We rely entirely on the information you provide.
- We are not responsible — and you have no right to cancel, return, refund or free replacement — where a Door has been made correctly to a specification that turns out to be wrong, unsuitable or incorrectly measured. Please check your order carefully before you pay.
5. Tolerances and material variation
- Doors are made to a manufacturing tolerance of ±0.5 mm on each dimension. A Door within this tolerance meets your order and is not faulty.
- Our Doors are CNC-machined from MDF. Minor variation in surface, colour, density and appearance is normal and is not a defect. Primed or unfinished Doors must be sealed, painted or finished by you; we are not responsible for problems caused by inadequate or incorrect finishing.
- MDF can move slightly with changes in temperature and humidity. Reasonable movement after manufacture is normal and is not a defect.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. We add VAT at the rate in force at the date of our invoice.
- The price for your order is the price confirmed when we accept it.
- Full payment is required up front. We begin manufacture only once we have received cleared funds; until then, no order is confirmed and no manufacturing slot is reserved.
7. Changing or cancelling an order
- Because Doors are made to order, you can change or cancel an order only before we begin manufacturing it. Contact us as soon as possible at office@joinerysupply.co.uk.
- If you cancel before manufacture begins, we will refund what you have paid, less a reasonable administration charge to cover the cost of processing your order and refund.
- Once manufacture has begun, your order cannot be cancelled or changed and is non-refundable, except where the Doors are faulty (see section 10).
- If you ask us to change an order after manufacture has begun, we may agree at our discretion, and any change may incur additional charges.
8. Delivery and collection
- You can choose delivery or collection at checkout.
- We aim to manufacture within as selected at point of order. of cleared payment, but any dates we give are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Time is not of the essence. We are not liable for delays, and a delay does not entitle you to cancel or claim compensation.
- Delivery is to UK mainland addresses. You are responsible for safe and suitable access and for offloading, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Risk in the Doors passes to you on delivery, or when you (or your carrier) collect them.
- Please check the Doors on arrival. You must tell us about any visible damage, shortage or incorrect item within 3 working days of delivery or collection, with photographs. After that the Doors are treated as accepted.
- If delivery fails for a reason within your control (for example, no one available or no safe access), we may charge you for storage and re-delivery.
9. Ownership
The Doors remain our property until we have received payment in full. Risk, however, passes to you on delivery or collection as set out above.
10. Our guarantee for faulty goods
- We guarantee our Doors against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from delivery or collection.
- If a Door is faulty, we will repair or replace it, at our option, free of charge. If repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, we will refund the price of the affected Door. This is your sole remedy for faulty Doors.
- To make a claim, contact us at office@joinerysupply.co.uk with your order reference and photographs.
The guarantee does not cover:
- anything caused by an incorrect or unsuitable specification or measurement you provided;
- variation within the tolerances or the normal material variation described in section 5;
- failure to store, finish, seal, paint, handle or install the Doors correctly;
- fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or damage after risk has passed to you;
- Doors that have been altered, machined or modified by anyone other than us.
11. Installation and suitability
We supply Doors only. We do not install them, and we are not responsible for fitting, finishing, or for deciding whether a Door is suitable for a particular purpose, unless we have confirmed suitability in writing.
12. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you for any order — whether in contract, negligence or otherwise — is limited to the price you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, wasted labour, the cost of removing or refitting goods, or other costs beyond the price of the Doors.
- We are not liable for any loss arising from inaccurate information you provided.
13. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example supply shortages, equipment failure, fire, flood, extreme weather, strikes, or interruptions to power, transport or telecommunications). If such an event continues for a long period, either of us may cancel the affected order, and we will refund any amount paid for Doors not yet manufactured.
14. Intellectual property
All rights in our website, configurator and designs remain ours. You may use them only to place and manage orders with us.
15. General
- These terms are the entire agreement between us about your order and replace anything said or written beforehand.
- If we do not enforce a term, that does not mean we waive it.
- If any term is found to be invalid, the rest continue to apply.
- You may not transfer your rights under a contract without our written consent. We may transfer ours.
- A person who is not a party to the contract has no rights under it (the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply).
- Notices should be sent to office@joinerysupply.co.uk or to our registered office.
16. Governing law
These terms, and any order, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
